    Gove Airport – Face Masks

    18 October 2021

Thank you to everyone who has continued wearing a mask while in the Gove Airport and doing your part to keep your community safe.

Face masks are mandatory in domestic airports and on all domestic commercial flights. Masks must be worn when inside the airport terminal building and when on the airfield.
It is the responsibility of individuals to make sure they have a mask to wear when at major NT airports and while onboard an aircraft.

Individuals transiting through the Gove Airport have received an infringement of $5056 for failing to comply with Chief Health Officer Directions under section 56 of the Public and Environment Health Act 2011.

Please ensure you bring your own facemask

    Masks can be purchased from:

    • Amcal Pharmacy
    • Woolworths

Nhulunbuy Corporation's priority is the wellbeing and safety of everyone passing through or working at Gove Airport, and we are following the directions of NT Health to ensure everyone is protected.

Fireworks are a fun and exciting way to celebrate Territory Day. For many dogs, though, the loud cracks and booms and flashing lights are very frightening. More pets run away on Territory night than any other day of the year. So it’s critical to ensure that the Nhulunbuy Corporation Animal Control, can identify your dog and contact you if they run off out of fear.
