The Nhulunbuy Corporation is proud to announce the completion of a long-running project to obtain Visitor Information Center (VIC) accreditation for the Nhulunbuy VIC, run by the Nhulunbuy Corporation at our office on Westal Street.
The Nhulunbuy Visitor Information Centre will now become the 6th Accredited Visitor Information Centre in the Northern Territory, and one of the most remote in the whole of Australia. Each year, the Nhulunbuy VIC welcomes up to a thousand tourists, as well as a handful of new residents and many FIFO workers.
Our role in the Tourism space is to be the first port of call for any visitors requesting information about the region, including for permits, assistance in booking trips and for general enquiries about East Arnhem Land. Our knowledgeable staff will continue to market our region and assist visitors into the future.
