Concreting Works in Town Centre
30 June 2023Repairs to a damaged footpath will be commencing within the Town Centre. These works are anticipated to be completed by Tuesday 4th of July. Machinery will be used in these works.
Stormwater infrastructure inspection and service
29 June 2023The Nhulunbuy Corporation Infrastructure team would like to advise of a 1-month long project to service sewer pits, stormwater pits and other associated infrastructure.
Airport Terminal Maintenance Project: Phase 2
29 June 2023Phase 2 of the Airport Terminal Maintenance Project has now commenced, with Scope Building as the contractor for the Nhulunbuy Corporation.

Electricity and Water Meter reads for Quarter 2 2023
23 June 2023The Nhulunbuy Corporation will be performing meter reads of all properties with an active electricity account with the Nhulunbuy Corporation. This is estimated to be completed in late July. Please contact the Nhulunbuy Corporation on 08 8939 2200 if you would like to arrange a specific time for a meter read. We will also be utilising the Taggle smart water meters to generate water billing. A data dump will occur on the 30th of June.

Aviation Motivation Program visit from the RAAF
15 June 2023A visit from the RAAF allowed 50 students in East Arnhem Land to have a close-up look at a C-130 Hercules cargo plane and a VR experience at flying an aircraft in a simulator.

June Twilight Community Markets
22 May 2023The June Twilight Community Markets will be the first outdoor twilight market for 2023. It will take place on the 17th of June at the Gove Peninsula Surf Lifesaving Club, running from 4PM to 7PM. This market will be hosted by the Arafura Dance Association Troupe Committee.

28 April 2023The May Community Markets for 2023 take place on the 20th of May at the Nhulunbuy Town Hall from 9AM to 12PM. This market will be hosted by the Nhulunbuy High School students who are fundraising for the CDU Science Experience in Darwin.
Completion of Stage 1 Airport Terminal Maintenance Project
17 April 2023Stage 1 of the Airport Terminal Maintenance Project has been completed! Stage 1 was focused on the central part of the terminal roof and the awning above the entryways.
