Discounted waste management fees for Industrial Estate businesses

    14 October 2021

It’s that time of year when the Nhulunbuy community needs to clear all that hard waste from around their properties in preparation for the cyclone season. We are excited to advise that throughout October 2021, all Industrial Estate businesses are eligible for a 50% discount on waste management fees.  All businesses in the Industrial estate should have received an email and letter with details on how to claim their discount voucher. If your business has not received any information, please call 8939 2200. Town lease residents will have the opportunity to dispose of hard waste during the hard waste cyclone collection, which is free of charge and will occur in November. The Nhulunbuy Corporation will provide more information in the coming weeks.

Fireworks are a fun and exciting way to celebrate Territory Day. For many dogs, though, the loud cracks and booms and flashing lights are very frightening.  More pets run away on Territory night than any other day of the year.  So it’s critical to ensure that the Nhulunbuy Corporation Animal Control, can identify your dog and contact you if they run off out of fear.
