The Nhulunbuy Corporation's Airport team would like to advise that Phase 1 of the Gove Airport Maintenance Project will be commencing from mid-September. Phase 1 will involve the re-sheeting of the upper roof and awnings, as well as the treating of structural steel for rust, followed by re-painting. This is anticipated to take approximately 12 weeks to complete.
During Phase 1, passengers may experience some minor disruptions inside the terminal and in the parking lot. Flights will not be affected by this, although there may be some minor delays in the check-in process.
