The Nhulunbuy Corporation is privileged to work closely with all of the surrounding Yolŋu and community organisations to present a coming together on Australia Day.
The 2022 Australia Day Citizenship and Australia Day Awards Ceremony will be held at the Gove Boat Club on Wednesday, 26th January, commencing at 10.30am, with an expected finish time of 12pm.
The 2022 Ambassador will be the Northern Territory 2018 Young Australian of the Year nominee and East Arnhem Land local, Ineke Wallis.
This event will also feature the traditional sounds and elements of Yolŋu music from the enigmatic and captivating performer, who's storytelling transcends time and space, the fabulously talented, Yirrmal.
