Introduction of concession rates for utilities

The Nhulunbuy Corporation's Finance team is happy to announce the availability of concession rates for Not-for-Profit organisations and Public Benevolent Institutions. These rates will be available for electricity and water services billed by the Nhulunbuy Corporation as a 22% discount, which will apply from the date of approval of your application.

The eligibility criteria is below:

• Be registered as a Public Benevolent Institution with the ACNC (Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commissions) or a registered Not-For-Profit organisation.
• Provide community services or charitable programs within Nhulunbuy
• Operate on a non-commercial, not-for-profit basis
• Hold a current ABN with not-for-profit status
• The property receiving the services must be used primarily for community, charitable or benevolent purposes
• The utility account must be in the name of the eligible organisation
