NOTICE is hereby given that an election is planned to be held on Friday 17 April 2026 to elect two representatives to the Nhulunbuy Town Board for a 2 year term.
Candidate nomination forms are available on the NC website: www.ncl.net.au or from the Nhulunbuy Corporation Head Office in Westal Street during normal business hours or by email to the Returning Officer, Desiree Rodgers via mcs@ncl.net.au
Completed nomination forms must be submitted to the Returning Officer, Desiree Rodgers at the Nhulunbuy Corporation Head Office by 12 noon on:
Tuesday 31st March 2026. No nominations will be accepted after this date and time.
To be eligible for nomination, the candidate must:
· be an enrolled on the electoral role for Nhulunbuy
· not be employed by the Nhulunbuy Corporation, and
· not be disqualified from being a member of the Nhulunbuy Town Board under section 30 or 40 of the Associations Act.
· Be a resident of Nhulunbuy.
