The Nhulunbuy Waste Management Facility (WMF) will remain operational and open to the public throughout the majority of the upcoming Christmas and New Years holiday period. As per the WMF's usual operational arrangements, the facility will be closed on Christmas Day (Thursday the 25th of December) and Boxing Day (Friday the 26th of December). No services or access will be available on those 2 days.
On all other days, normal open hours will be in effect. As a reminder, these are:
Monday to Friday: 8AM - 4PM
Saturday and Sunday: 9AM - 3PM
Please note, if you have White Goods Vouchers you have picked up during 2025, they will be valid only until December 31st, 2025. In the New Year, you will be able to pick up new vouchers, which will be useable throughout 2026.
