The Nhulunbuy Corporation's Compliance team will be assisting businesses in the Industrial Estate through the months of September and October with Pre-Cyclone Season Building Inspections and provision of cheaper waste disposal.
We would like to remind all business owners and caretakers in the Industrial Estate that now is the time to prepare for the next Cyclone season. These building inspections will be carried out to assist in identifying/mitigating hazards, ensure all structures are in good condition and update any contact details needed. Our Compliance team asks that you remove/secure any loose materials or items stored outside, check all structures for condition, and review your emergency response plan and cyclone emergency kit.
For further assistance in preparing for cyclone season, the Nhulunbuy Corporation will be bringing back a 50% discount on dumping fees at the Waste Management Facility for ALL Industrial Estate businesses in the month of October.
