Australia Day awards are a high honour granted to residents of a community who have made exceptional and noteworthy contributions. This can take place in many different forms, whether it is local organisation or businesses, or a single individual who has made a real difference in people's lives.
The Nhulunbuy Corporation is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Australia Day awards. Please see this blurb for general information. This form will need to be returned to submit your nomination. Note that you are required to attach a short description (less than 500 words) of the person/organisation's contribution to the community.
Nominations will be accepted until noon on Friday the 21st of November.
