The Nhulunbuy Corporation would like to advise residents of Nhulunbuy that Arnhem Land Pest Control (ALPC) will be increased the number of mosquito fogging runs performed per week. Since late October, 3 runs have occurred per week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon/evening. Going forward, ALPC will be performing mosquito fogging runs on EACH weekday, providing high winds or heavy rainfall are not occurring.
The areas which will have fogging will include the following on a rotating basis:
1. Lagoon
2. Crocodile Creek
3. South Area
4. Buffalo Creek
5. Christian School
6. West Mudflats
If you see ALPC's mosquito fogging truck in operation during in these areas, please remain well clear, ensuring also that your pets are kept away from the vehicle.
