The Nhulunbuy Corporation will be undergoing meter reads for electricity meters throughout Nhulunbuy and the Industrial Estate. Meter reads will commence from Monday the 27th of May and continue until all electricity meters have been read. It is expected that this process will take place throughout June.
To streamline this process for our meter reading contractor, we ask that all residents ensure your electricity meter is easily accessible and not covered by any kind of debris or rubbish. Please also ensure your yard can be accessed. If you typically leave your gates locked and would like them remain locked, please call or message Tom, our meter reading contractor, on 0497 838 561 to arrange a time and date for a read to occur. For safety reasons, we ask that you ensure your pets are appropriately secured during this time also.
Any properties which did not receive a Taggle Smart Water Meter will also have their water meter read manually. For all other properties, a 'data dump' will be performed from your water meter on the 30th of June. To ensure proper functionality of your radio transmitter, please check that your meter is not obscured by any kind of rubbish or vehicles.
