The Nhulunbuy Corporation will be performing meter reads for electricity meters across Nhulunbuy and the Industrial Estate in order to conduct billing for the first quarter of 2024. All properties in Nhulunbuy and the Industrial Estate which receive electricity bills will have their meter read. This process will commence from Friday the 1st of March and is expected to continue throughout the month of March.
NCL has engaged a contractor to perform these reads. To assist our contractor, we ask residents to ensure the following:
- Your electricity meter is not obscured by rubbish or debris, and can be easily accessed.
- Any pets you have are either secured or indoors.
- Gates are left in a way that yard are accessible.
As many properties would doubtless have security and animal welfare concerns, we ask that you call or message our contractor Tom on 0497 838 561 to arrange a time for these reads if you are unwilling to have gates unlocked and dogs secured.
