Residents are advised that there is a vacancy for one representative to the Nhulunbuy Town Board, with a term running from July 2023 to July 2027.
The election will occur on Saturday 29th July 2023.
To nominate yourself as a candidate, please submit a Nomination Pack and Election Declaration Form. All Nomination Packs and Election Declaration Forms must be submitted by:
Friday 14th July at 12PM. No nominations will be accepted after this date and time.
For residents wishing to vote in the Town Board Election, the enrolment roll closure date is:
Friday 30th June 2023 at 3PM. No enrolments will be accepted after this date.
Enrolment forms are available at the Nhulunbuy Post Office and the Nhulunbuy Corporation Head Office during normal business hours or enrolment can be effected online at http://www.aec.gov.au/enrol/. To be eligible to vote, you must be:
- Over 18 years old
- Enrolled on the Electoral Roll for Nhulunbuy
- A current resident of Nhulunbuy
