Major works to commence on Westal Street

Nhulunbuy Corporation will be undertaking major works on Westal Street to overhaul the existing water infrastructure. 

These works will require the use of heavy equipment on the nature strip adjacent to the Nhulunbuy Aquatic Centre. As a result, a half-road closure will be in place for the duration of works. A traffic management plan will be in place throughout the duration of these works, expected to run from 1st September to 27th September. 

While the half-road closure is in place, vehicles and foot traffic will be able to continue moving from Westal Street onto Franklyn Street, but not from Franklyn Street onto Westal Street.
