The Nhulunbuy Corporation's Animal Control department would like to notify and remind residents who have annual dog registrations that the 2023 dog registration will run out on the 31st of December 2023. Renewal notices have been sent to residents via their nominated email addresses.
The renewal notice contains all information required to make payment, including price, methods of payment (including BPay), contact details for the Nhulunbuy Corporation and an updated registration form.
Annual dog registrations for the 2024 calendar year will be due by the 31st of December. Please note that the Nhulunbuy Corporation office will be shut from midday on Friday the 22nd of December until 9AM on Monday the 8th of January, due to the Christmas break. Payments made after the 31st of December registration expiry date will incur the increased fees in accordance with the 2024 Fees and Charges.
The Nhulunbuy Corporation has also implemented a reduced fee for lifetime dog registration, changing the fee from $125 to $90 for the remainder of 2023. Please remember that a dog can only be provided a lifetime dog registration if it has been de-sexed and microchipped.
For annual dog registration, the fees are as follows:
Whole dog: $110
De-sexed dog: $21
