The Nhulunbuy Corporation's Airport team would like to advise of the commencement of Phase 2 of the Airport Terminal Maintenance Project.
Phase 2 will comprise of the repair of both of the 'wing' areas of the airport terminal. Under these 'wings' lie the check-in area and the baggage carousel and arrivals area. Our contractor, Scope Building, will be completing these works.
Phase 2 will be split into two stages in order to minimise disruption to passengers. The first stage will commence immediately and comprise of repairs to the Western wing of the terminal, covering the baggage carousel and arrivals area. The second stage will commence upon the completion of the first stage. It will cover the Eastern wing of the terminal, over the check-in area.
Phase 2 is scheduled to be complete by October 2023.
