After many years, the Gove Airport Terminal has received a major upgrade, seeing the installation of a state-of-the-art Electro Chlorination Plant, which will produce potable drinking water!
This piece of technology utilises salt to produce chlorine, which will be used to treat the bore water supplied to the Gove Airport, ensuring it meets Australian Drinking Water Guidelines. Not only will this provide high-quality drinking water, but it also means no more bottle water - a big win for the environment and yet another step towards sustainabilty.
We would like to thank WestWater for their contributions in the planning of this project, as well as the provision of the electro-chlorination unit. Additionally, we would like to thank Arnhem Electrical and Refrigeration, John Bedwell Management and Fillet and Release Building Services.
