The Nhulunbuy Corporation would like to advise residents of an increase to mosquito fogging operations occurring in areas around the Gove Peninsula, concentrated around Nhulunbuy. With the Dry Season bringing an end to the heavy rainfall we've been seeing, Arnhem Land Pest Control are able to more regularly conduct their planned fogging operations.
This will affect areas such as the Town Lagoon and Crocodile Creek primarily. Other areas may undergo fogging operations at various times also. If you view the ALPC Fogging Truck in operation, please view the area immediately, to allow safe operation of the truck by the technician, as well as for your own safety. The chemical used by ALPC can cause minor irritation in humans, but more severe reactions in cats and dogs.
