Nhulunbuy has two shopping precincts (Endeavour Square and the Captain Cook Centre) with a supermarket, cafes and takeaways, a pharmacy, hardware, fishing, camping and clothing shops, Westpac Bank, Australia Post outlet (also a Commonwealth Bank agent) and a toy shop.
Nhulunbuy also has a newsagency, hospital, medical centre, police station, vet, fire station, ambulance service, community radio station (8EAR GoveFM 106.9), restuarants and bars, Surf Lifesaving Club, Boat Club, tennis and squash courts and the Nhulunbuy Aquatic Centre with a 50m Olympic swimming pool.
Our local newspaper The Arafura Times will keep you up to date with all the happenings in Nhulunbuy. There are also Community Notice Boards outside of Woolworths and the Captain Cook shopping centre.
